Sgt. Victor Medina, a decorated combat veteran suffers from traumatic brain injury. He survived a IED attack in Iraq and his injury wasn’t immediately apparent. He and his wife keep asking for better treatment at Texas’ Fort Bliss and are finally receiving the level of care that this injury requires. It’s sad to see that our combat veterans aren’t initially given better treatment and I really hope the process Sgt. Medina went through is an isolated case. Our Veterans deserve better.
