As a kid I was a big fan of Rikki-Tikki-Tavi, the short story in The Jungle Book (1894) by Rudyard Kipling. I almost didn’t want to watch this for fear of my childhood perception of a mongoose would be proved wrong. Mongoose 1, Cobra 0…game over.
