French artist Céleste Boursier-Mougenot creates works by drawing on the rhythms of daily life to produce sound in unexpected ways. In this commission for The Curve, Barbican, London a flock of zebra finches, furnished with electric guitars and other musical instruments create an interesting melody of sound. Reminds me of the old saying about give 10,000 monkeys a typewriter and they’ll write a book.
