I was more than a little surprised to watch this video and learn that a skate park exists in Kabul. Arguably one of the most violent and miserable places to live the concept of teenagers skating in the land of the Taliban is to say the least radical. These kids hope for lasting peace in Afghanistan and the skateboarding provides an outlet for them to forget the troubles of the day. I hope they aren’t punished for there skateboarding activity.
