The new Congress has been sworn in after many Republicans got elected by talking tough about cutting spending and getting our National Debt under control. They spouted the same tough talk after their 1994 election triumph and look what happened. With a national Debt of 14 Trillion and growing I sure hope both sides of Congress figure out a way to curtail spending and reduce the debt as too many tax dollars are going to waste paying interest on it.
