Kiribati is a country in the South Pacific composed of 33 tiny islands that have an average height above sea level of six feet. Living on such small island is precarious in nature as drinking water is in limited supply and the ocean is constantly trying to reclaim these islands. If the current trend of rising oceans continues there is a good chance that this nation will literally be swallowed by the sea.
