A good look at Public Employee Unions from Professor Walter E Williams. As many states are facing bankruptcy and State Governors are trying to balance their budgets it’s important to understand the longtime relationship between politicians and public employee unions that has driven state budgets into the ditch. For anyone that thinks Public Sector Employees need the right to collectively bargain I would ask you to explain why this is so when the greatest of all public sector employees don’t have that right and seem to get along just fine. I am of course referring to those that have or are currently serving in the U.S. Military.
