Raising the Debt Ceiling is one thing the Politicians in Washington never seem to fail at and they are getting very good at increasing the National Debt. Most people try to cut and control their spending when having financial problems. A few dig themselves into an even deeper hole by taking out additional credit if someone is willing to lend it to them. The old joke about digging a hole to China seems appropriate in the United States case right about now.
