A wonderful documentary from the PBS Nature series on the American Bald Eagle. The Eagle population was almost wiped out during the 1960′s do to the widespread use of the pesticide DDT but has since made a comeback. This video from three-time Emmy-winning cinematographer Neil Rettig on bald eagles is an intimate portrait of these majestic raptors’ lives in the wild.
