It appears that the Decorah Eagle mom was attacked by an Owl that has been hanging around the eagles nest for several days. This is why both Eagles are so vigilant about watching their little eaglets at night when the owl is out hunting.
You can watch the video on YouTube as the person that created the video from the Free Web Camera has selfishly decided not to allow others to embedd it and share it on their sites. One of the things that makes the Internet great is sharing and I’ve never understood why people post something on YouTube then refuse to allow other sites to post that video on their site.
