A good look at wild Elk on the loose in Estes Park and the crazy tourists that try to get to close to them. Estes Park, Colorado, is a wonderful little mountain town North of Boulder that is mostly famous for the Stanley Hotel which inspired author Stephen King to write “The Shining” after he stayed at the Stanley Hotel. I was fortunate enough to spend a relaxing long weekend in Estes Park 20 years ago and have fond memories of the town.
