The Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund is an organization I can easily resonate with as I’m a former Marine. I made a donation today to the Semper Fi Fund in honor of Lance Cpl. Nicholas O’Brien from Gastonia, NC. I didn’t know LCpl O’Brien but after reading an article in the Charlotte Observer about how the Westboro Baptist “Church” is planning to protest at his memorial service I figured a donation in his honor was appropriate. I’m hoping the Patriot Guard Riders show up in force to protect the family from the hatred of this so called church.
