National Back To Church Sunday is September 18th, 2011 and not to be outdone by any Back to School marketing campaign they have put together a pretty good promo video for handling objections to going to church. I say pretty good because they slipped in a written message of “right where God wants you”. Is that some of that Catholic Guilt Trip I grew up with that I detect? Seriously, if going to church is what allows you to have a relationship with God then that’s great and I’m happy for you. I personally believe you don’t have to go to church to have a relationship with God and have always found it amazingly arrogant when other people try to tell me what God approves of or wants for me.
