Amazing color footage from the waters and sky over the Marines landing on Okinawa during World War Two. The shots of the planes in this video are really spectacular. It’s hard to imagine a battle of this scale being fought today but the Battle for Okinawa occurred just a few short months after the ferocious fighting on Iwo Jima.
