An interesting look at a Vietnam POW Dinner held at the White House on May 24, 1973 and hosted by President and First Lady Nixon. They welcomed the recently returned POW’s for the largest dinner ever held at the White House. 40 years later, the Richard Nixon Foundation hosted what was perhaps their last reunion gathering. I’m so glad to learn that President Nixon did this for these Veterans who endured much pain and suffering at the hands of their North Vietnamese captors.
