Marvin Hume is an 89-year-old Cape May resident and Veteran of the Navy from World War Two who conducts a flag raising ceremony to honor fallen Veterans. Marvin and his Flag Raising Ceremony on Sunset Beach exemplify why WWII Veterans have been called “The Greatest Generation”. A great tribute to Veterans of all generations that I hope continues for many more years.
