This is just a remarkable old black and white film shot from a San Francisco streetcar in 1905. The 1906 San Francisco earthquake and fire that resulted destroyed the area of the city shown. If you’ve ever wanted a look at life in the big city at the turn of the 20th Century this is as good a documentary as you’ll find.
