A Day in the Life of a Fire Lookout is a wonderful video from Gary Yost that documents the day of a fire lookout in the Gardner Lookout on the East Peak of Mt. Tamalpais in Marin County, California. Gary is a volunteer lookout for the Marin County Fire Department and he really enjoys the usually peaceful days and nights he gets to spend on the mountain watching for fires. After watching his video I completely understand why.
