The story of the resupply of Tootsie Roll for the United States Marines who were fighting in The Battle of Chosin Reservoir. This was a tough battle for the Marines and Army as they were caught by surprise by the Chinese and had to fight their way out during bitterly cold weather with a lack of supplies. If you ever get the chance I encourage you to visit the National Museum of the Marine Corps in Quantico, VA. The museum is open every day except Christmas, is Free, and does a wonderful job of telling the history of the Marine Corps.
