The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain performs their version of the theme song from the movie “Shaft”. If you were around in the 1970s then chances are you remember the “Theme from Shaft” by Isaac Hayes that became a hit song after the movie was released in 1971. It won an Academy Award in 1972 for Best Original Song. Somehow I don’t think the song was ever meant to be performed by musicians with British accents but they give it a go and do quite well.
