Michael Novosel was an Army Dustoff Pilot during the Vietnam War who was awarded the Medal of Honor for his actions in rescuing 29 wounded soldiers while under heavy enemy fire. The story of this amazing man began long before though as he started out flying bombers during World War Two and then flew transport aircraft during the Korean War. Not many pilots could say they ever flew a mission with their son as the copilot which is something else CWO Novosel did during the Vietnam War.
