The opportunity to work with these horses is truly priceless for these veterans who are suffering from both physical and mental combat injuries. In a perfect world every combat veteran would have the opportunity to participate in a program like this. The only way that would ever happen is if individuals and private organizations continue to create programs like this because while the politicians are great at getting us into wars they suck at dealing with the consequences.
