“The Champions” is an award winning documentary film by Darcy Dennett that looks at what happened to the Pit Bulls from professional football player Michael Vick’s illegal activities. I assumed that the dogs were euthanized as that is what PETA and The Human Society wanted given how these dogs were treated but that’s not what happened. This wonderful documentary is a story of second-chances, redemption and hope that takes the viewer on an uplifting journey about much more than just dogs.
