An interesting look at what a train of the future might look like in this concept video. It looks like a massive aerial drone that is tethered to a rail to guide it along the travel route. It appears to be a much more spacious and comfortable ride than many current trains offer. I imagine that a train like this would be quite a bit safer since it’s elevated off the ground where it would be more difficult for obstacles to get on the rails and collisions to occur.
