These beautiful horses are at the the Duchess Sanctuary near Oakland, Oregon. The horse sanctuary is operated by The Fund for Animals in partnership with The Humane Society of the United States. Most people are aware of the work done by the Humane Society in rescuing cats and dogs but I had never given much thought to who rescues horses until I saw this video.
