A couple of dog trainers in Chile came up with the brilliant idea to use dogs to help regrow large tracts of forest that was devastated by a fire. The two sisters, Francisca and Constanza Torres, use their three border collies to spread native seeds from specially made backpacks as they run through the forest. The dogs love the trips to the forest where they get to run wild. They cover a lot of ground as they spread the seeds and help the forest to begin its regrowth. I hope this results in the forest coming back to life faster than normal.
