I have never seen an owl try to look ferocious but after seeing this Great Horned Owl posturing and making clicking sounds like it does I’m a believer. The great horned owl is also known as the tiger owl and I can see why as it certainly appears as a ferocious as a tiger. I love to see owls and hawks in the wild and always feel good knowing I’ll have fewer rodents when they are near my house.
