A small group of Elk in Yellowstone National Park face off against a wolf pack in this battle for survival. The five elk are outnumbered by the wolf pack but they have the advantage of being bigger and stronger than the wolves. The wolves move through the snow in single file to conserve energy as they approach the elk but can’t attack in that formation. The elk run the wolves into deeper snow to tire them out so they can escape. All the elk survived this encounter to live another day.
