A touching tribute to Navy Gunner Loyce Deen Edward who was Killed In Action during World War Two. When the plane lands on the carrier deck you can see the gunner’s position is all shot to hell while the pilot’s cockpit is undamaged. A corpsman takes a fingerprint of the deceased gunner, then the chaplain says final prayers followed by taps before the plane is pushed into the sea.
