If you lived in New York City in the 1940s,1950s, or 1960s then you probably have fond memories of your local Candy Store.
I enjoyed this video of New York City Candy Stores from the 1940s,1950s, and 1960s as I never knew these corner stores were referred to as Candy Stores. Not being a New Yorker, I would have called them the corner store or soda fountain. If you enjoyed this be sure to watch The Fabulous Fifties.
