How Wine Corks Are Made

How over 40 million wine corks are harvested and produced from Portugal’s cork oak trees. If you have ever opened a bottle of wine, you might have paused for a moment to admire the wine cork before enjoying a glass of wine. The cork trees in Portugal are protected and have been cared for by generations of harvesters who carefully strip the bark from the tree to be made into wine corks. A cork tree could be harvested many times if done properly. Be sure to watch A Glass Of Red if you love wine and appreciate great entertainment.
