They were testing the capabilities of the jet suit with the Royal Marines LLC for ship boarding and exfiltration. It’s cool to see technology become viable that used to be considered in the realm of science fiction. There will be many other useful applications for jet suits such as search and rescue operations in steep mountain terrain.
