Elk Freed From Rope Swing

Colorado Parks and Wildlife shares a video of an Elk in Estes Park who had a swing stuck on its antlers for over 6 months. The wildlife officers were monitoring the elk and didn’t intervene as the Elk was mobile and able to eat and drink. Once the rope got tangled around the Elk’s legs they helped save the animal. Wildlife Officer Rylands successfully tranquilized the bull in early April and was able to cut the swing free.
