The Veteran of the Year award is presented by Willie Nelson to Kris Kristofferson. I didn’t realize Kris was a Veteran or that Willie served in the Air Force. Kris was a helicopter pilot in the Army and achieved the rank of Captain as well as being a graduate of the Army Ranger School.
