The tiny island paradise of Moyenne in the Seychelles could be called Tortoise Island thanks to the efforts of Brendon Grimshaw to reintroduce the tortoise to the island. Brendon is an amazing 86-year-old, real-life Robinson Crusoe who bought the island years ago for a small sum of money and now has 120 of the giant tortoise’s living on the island. The work he has done to turn the island into the lush landscape that it is today to make it habitable for the tortoises is truly inspiring.
