Birds of Paradise

A look at some of the birds of paradise courtesy of The Cornell Lab of Ornithology and National Geographic in this wonderful nature video. Cornell Lab scientist Ed Scholes and National Geographic photojournalist Tim Laman took 18 expeditions to New Guinea and Australia over an 8 year period to film the birds. Their efforts resulted in them capturing images of all 39 species in the bird-of-paradise family for the first time.
