Dogs are amazing creatures as any dog owner will tell you but perhaps one of the most amazing things about dogs is their ability to detect cancer. Dogs sense of smell is so keen that they can detect the volatile chemicals the cancer cells put off. What they can’t do very well is tell us what they are smelling unless they are trained to alert to a medical condition like diabetes, seizures, or allergies.
