World War Two veteran Vince Speranza tells the Airborne Beer story. Vince was serving in the 101st Airborne Division at the Battle of the Bulge. The 101st Airborne was cut off from the rest of the Army and was holding Bastogne when Vince was sent to find radio batteries for his company. He got sidetracked on his mission when he stopped to visit a wounded friend and the rest is history. Vincent was 98 years old when he died on August 2, 2023. RIP Vince.
