A wonderful story about the work being done to support our Veterans by Lori Stevens and her organization Patriot PAWS. They spend two years training each service dog at a cost of roughly $30,000 before it is placed with a Veteran. The Veterans aren’t the only ones who benefit though as a big part of the dog’s training is conducted by prison inmates who are able to use their time in prison to do something positive for someone else.
