An interesting look at the ancient monasteries built on the mountains in Meteora, Greece. I am always fascinated when I see a structure built on the top or side of a mountain and even more so when that building is hundreds of years old. Building in these locations today is one thing given modern technology but imagine building these monasteries without modern machinery and tools.
