Eric had reached a low point in his life with his deteriorating health conditions and being told by his doctor that he had five years to live. Peety had reached a low point for a dog by ending up in an animal shelter. Together they found each other and both their lives improved. I think adopting a rescue dog is a wonderful idea for anyone trying to improve their emotional and physical health.
