A fascinating animated look at the building of Charles Bridge that began in 1357 and finished early in the 15th Century. The Charles Bridge is located in the city of Prague and crosses the Vltava river. The amount of engineering and years of work that went into building this bridge is simply amazing. Seeing this video reminded me of a wonderful series of books I read as a kid about how ancient structures were built. If you have kids or grandkids consider introducing them to the books by David Macaulay of Castle and Cathedral.
