A look at the flooding that occurred in Boone, NC on Monday, October 23, 2017, after a day of heavy rains. Filmed by Nelson Aerial Productions this aerial view of the historic flooding in Boone shows how quickly flooding can occur when the rivers and creeks overflow. The flooding was more widespread than the Boone Mall parking lot which floods on a regular basis. A total of 6.75 inches of rain was received by Boone according to the National Weather Service. A beautiful rainbow appeared over the mountains after the storm.
