There are some crazy laws out there but getting a ticket for exceeding the time limit in a 3-minute parking zone is ridiculous. That’s exactly how these unsuspecting people feel when they discover they’re a minute over the parking zone limit. Insult is added to injury when the traffic cop asks them to write their own ticket.
