Landing a plane at Courchevel Altiport in the French Alps can be dangerous as it’s one of the shortest runways in the world at 1,762 feet long. To help slow the plane upon landing the runway has a gradient of 18.6% which makes for some cool videos. While some people might consider this the most dangerous place to land a plane I would say that nothing compares to landing a plane on a carrier at night in pitching seas.
