Justin Bilton and his father were caught in a wildfire and filmed part of their harrowing attempt to escape by driving through the fire. They were camping and hiking in a remote section of Glacier National Park in Montana and were caught on a dead-end road when the Howe Ridge Fire spread from a few acres to several thousand. The video ends when they couldn’t drive any further because of a tree across the road so they went in reverse back to the lake where they started. Thankfully, they were rescued by two park staff in a boat.
