If I ever end up with severe dementia I hope I am fortunate enough to live in a village like this. Many of us are going to suffer from Dementia as we age and I hope that facilities like the Hogeweyk dementia care center in Amsterdam become commonplace. If you ever have a loved one suffer from Dementia then I hope you remember that when they are confused that is when they need compassion.
