A cool look at “Tanker 911” in action at the Powerhouse brush fire in California in June 2013. The pilots that fly these tankers are amazing as it’s incredibly dangerous to fly this low and then drop thousands of pounds of fire retardant. These DC-10 tankers are currently being used to fight wildfires all over the Western United States including the wildfires in Colorado.
