An injured German Shephard was rescued by the U.S. Coast Guard after she had fallen about 300’ down a cliff on the Oregon coast. Coast Guard Air Station Astoria dispatched an MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter. A Coast Guard rescue swimmer was able to reach the dog and hoist it out so it could be reunited with its owner.
