Strongly inspired by the special effects of the Oppenheimer film, Thomas Blanchard shares a nuclear explosion from an artistic point of view. TRINITY was created from experiments filmed in macro mode using alcohol inks, pigments, magic candles, and a laboratory shaker. 90% of the sequences were filmed in Thomas’s kitchen and no CGI was used. Only the fire was filmed in the studio with a Highspeed camera.
